Christmas Glows with LOve!!!

Off to Christmas eve service!!! The Pastor had a lady bring in a baby sheep and he had all the kids in the service come up to the stage and he read the children's story The Crippled Lamb, it was such a sweet story and all those kids were just in awe of this little baby lamb, and they were all so good while he read the story!!!!The story is about this little lamb who thought he had No purpose with his life and he discovers he has a very important reason to be around and that is to keep Baby Jesus warm the night he is born!!!!The Pastor then read the Christmas story from the book of Luke!!! I love going to Christmas eve service and it was special because Will was off and was able to attend with us!!! We have gone to Midnight Mass with him before as well.

Watching It's a Wonderful life!!! One of my favorites!!! I love watching all of the Christmas movies!!! I saw Little Women, Elf, Home Alone 1 & 2, White Christmas, Christmas Story, Miracle on 34th Street and Christmas with the Kranks!!!! And alot of Cartoon Christmas movies!!! Polar express EVERYDAY!!! But most days twice!!!!

This one cost only 20.00 and I love it more then that Tiger Woods Tag-Heuer I bought him last year!!!!If I knew then what I know now about Tiger, I never would have bought him that nice watch!!!!! Oh well, we can pretend it never happened!!!He also got jeans, a sweater, Madden 2010 and a golf certificate to a course he has always wanted to play!!!!

In spite of feeling so sick, I took some tylenol and did what needed to be done to make Christmas Day Special; one that I look forward to and enjoy so much. I sadly missed out on Christmas dinner at our daughter's house with her in-laws, I was so looking forward to spending the day with all of them. This is the first time I have ever been sick on Christmas Day and had to miss out on anything!!!!

This meeting took place in the spring of 1993. We met her at a Department store but I can't not remember the name, I think it was Broadway, for those of you who remember that store, I either think it went out of business or it was bought by Macy's!!!!!She was so nice and friendly. We were one of the last groups to see her and they were tossing that giant poster of her away and my friends and I decided to take it and drop it off at the fire station!!!! My friends husbands both work for the fire dept. and we thought they would get a kick out if it!!!!
I'm still sick with my sinus infection, I started getting sick on Christmas eve, this is my first time to ever be sick on Christmas Day and I spent most of the entire day in bed. Didn't even make it to my daughter's house for Christmas dinner, I was going to go, then I was feeling so bad, I thought ok, I'll just go in my p.j.'s(that tells you how bad I felt and I was still running a temperature) my husband said Honey, her in-laws are going to think you are really sick if you show up in your p.j.'s, so I gathered my thoughts and stayed home and slept more!!!!Made it to church today for our neighbor's baby's Babtism and brunch and then came home and slept!!!!I kept clear of most of the people though!!!One of my other neighbors said she has a sinus infection as well, I hope to get a call into the Dr. first thing in the morning!!!!

We took C.J. and Jesse to the airport bright and early this morning!!!! They are off to a real winter wonderland--Michigan!!!!!! This afternoon it was 31 degrees there!!!!
Last night we went to the AZ Temple to walk around the beautiful grounds all decorated for Christmas, it is so beautiful!!!!

There was LOTS of wonderful Christmas cards int here!!!! I LOVE CHRISTMAS CARDS!!!! For some people this is my only communication with them all year, so I love opening my box and seeing all that mail!!!!!I love getting cards with pictures as I just cannot believe how babies and some people have changed over the year!!! But look at this BOX I found in my mailbox today!!!!! It is so unexpected, I nearly cried!!!! I could not wait to get home and tear that thing open!!!!!
With that beautiful Teddy Bear wrapping paper you know it had to have come from Jennifer!!!!What a sweet surprise!!!!! And filled with not 1 but 4 gifts that are some of her favorite things!!!! So now they are my favorite things!!!!! Warm red socks, I LOVE THESE!!! I have 3 pairs of these, but not in my favorite RED color!!!!!

I'm dreaming of a WHITE Christmas PARTY!!!!!!

Our Christmas Party had a "WHITE" theme this year, white as in Snow, only we were dreaming of snow!!!!
The presents are all wrapped in snow or snowman paper!!!!
The food, almost all white!!!! Snowflake cookies, Snowmen caramel white chocolate apples and White cupcakes!!!!Pineapple juice/ sherbet punch, died green with a white foam on top, suppose to look like snow!!!!!
My cheeseball Snowman appetizer!!!!!He was a big hit and melted(eaten actually) pretty quick!!!!The rest of the food was catered!!! Pasta alfredo, salad with lots of Cauliflower on top and breadsticks!!!!

Tony had a motorcycle accident about a week ago and had surgery just the day before our party, so one of the guys gives him a helping hand opening his gift!!!!!How nice!!!
The guys presented Chuck with a very nice gift card to Ocotillo Golf Course, so he will be taking 3 of them with him!!!!!All in all it was a very fun party!!!! 2 things got broken and I had some small stains on the carpet, but nothing I can't live with out and good thing I have a carpet cleaner!!!!

I was so happy to get to attend a taping of this show!!! I knew he was retiring soon, so a few of my friends combined an antique shopping trip with a Hollywood fun day!!!! We did the tour of Stars homes and we got tickets to this show!!!! The guest that night was Bob Newhart!!!! It is so fun to see it in real life!!!! The studio was really not as large as I thought it would be!!!!Now i'm sad I never got to see Jay Leno!!!! I hear he maybe coming to our local casino!!!!! So maybe!!!!
