Brush with Fame Game--Monday--Brooks and Dunn!!!!

In the fall of 1993, I did a Miller Beer commercial that was being shot to run during the Superbowl for Jan. of 1994. The stars in it were Ronnie Dunn and Kix Brooks. When I got the call to do this commercial I was told it would be like I'm at a Country Music Bar and the premise is that this cute girl puts a dime in the juke box and VOILA Brooks and Dunn appear!!!I didn't even know who they were, in fact when I called my Hubby to tell him I told him Garth Brooks!!!!! Well it was an amazing day, it was like we were at our very own little concert about 150 of us!!!! The song that played during the commercial was"Little Country Girl", and they had an actress(a playboy playmate actually) and an actor from one of the soap opera's(I don't watch soap opera's) that they were mostly focused on dancing around and we were told to dance amd mingle. We were there about 8-10 hours just listening to them play their songs and hanging out with them, they even played Boot-Scoot and Boogie for us!!!!

We were all sitting around in between takes playing cards and Ronnie and Kix both signed a card for me!!!!

My friends and I went outside and there was Ronnie and Kix just sitting in some folding chairs strumming away on their guitars, no "I'm a big star" attitude from these guys, they told us about their families, their home life and just talked to us like we were old friends!!!!

Just strumming away and having fun!!!!

But it was a very fun day!!!

By the way, the beer bottles we were given to hold and pretend to drink was filled with a foamy yellow substance!!!!!

I don't like real beer all that much let alone a fake beer!!!!!
