ROYAL WEDDING and Historic Pics from The Royal Family

ALL of these Newspaper and Magazine clippings, I inherited from my Grandmother when she died. To her ..these  were her Priceless Possessions. To Me they are A connection I have and will always Hold to her. I can remember as a child her  showing me these clippings and she would tell me stories about Kings and Queens. I never understood the full capacity of this as I never saw any of it on TV like you do today. But I knew she loved it and therefore I knew it was important for me to listen. I grew up Loving  ENGLISH ROYAL HISTORY!!!!As a young Mom, Near the same age as Princess Diana, my first encounter with A YOUNG ROYAL  Bride . I stayed up ALL night to watch her wedding!!!HOW my Grandmother got these first few articles is still a puzzle to me. My Grandmother was born in 1920 and King Edward died before she was born. Maybe they were in a paper when she was a young girl. These Clippings are very fragile and quite old.

 Queen Elizabeth's Father becomes KING when his brother gives UP the Throne to Marry his American Lover.This is Queen Elizabeth as a young girl with her PARENTS  and her sister Princess Margaret.

 The Queen's Mother, Queen Elizabeth the 1st. She reminds me of my Grandmother in so many ways.
