William and Kate's first day in Kuala Lumpur included their first ever visit to an Islamic place of worship. The As-syakirin Mosque is the largest in Malaysia. Here you see Kate with her head covered and they are removing their shoes. Her dress is a silk chiffon by Beulah London. I love her up do hair style. It probably helped keep her a bit cooler in the warm humid temps. |

Later that day they attended Tea at the British High Commissioner's residence. She wore an icy blue Alice Temperley dress. A closer look at her hair can be seen below. The last photo is of the couple preparing to leave for the airport where they flew to Kota Kinablu. |
The next morning they were taken by helicopter to the Danum Valley research center. They are visiting a part of the Royal Society south east Asia Rainforest research program. They really enjoyed their time walking and hiking in the rainforest. They also were hoisted up into a tree and walked across a suspension bridge 80 feet off the ground.
This is the queue area at the airport. Their next destination is over 4,000 miles away so alot of the media skipped the rainforest to get to their next destination ahead of them. I do not know if this is the Royal Couples luggage or if it belongs to the media!!!

I am glad her hubby was not going to tolerate the media bothering her like they did his mother.

I've really been enjoying photos of this trip. I've been to Malaysia and Borneo and enjoyed the visits a lot. Both of Kate's dresses are lovely and especially like the second dress.
