I had this as a child when our family would go camping. Since C.J. has been home for the summer, voila I have a cast iron skillet now!!!So I remembered that C.J. has always loved Dinty Moore Beef stew and Biscuits so I thought why not give it a try!!!VERY EASY!!!!
Pour 2 cans of Dinty Moore Beef Stew into a cast iron skillet, I suppose if you don't own one, any baking pan would work!!! It took about 1 1/2 half containers of biscuits to spread over the top.
OOPS!!! Sorry I forgot to turn that photo!!!!But you get the idea of the biscuits on top!!!
Bake for about 12 minutes instead of the 8-10 as directed on the biscuit can.
Warm and Yummy!!! We had a nice salad to go with it!!!
Also I made GINGER TEA COOLER, I have decided I wish I was a Southern Woman, because no self respected Southern woman wouldn't serve yummy sweet Tea!!!!
Boil 4 cups of water with 4 black tea bags
A 6 ounce can of frozen lemonade with water as directed pour into a glass pitcher
1/2 cup of sugar
a sprinkle of cinnamon
1 can of Ginger Ale soda
Mix all together
Very tasty and refreshing

Ah, I used to do that when my kidds were little. I had forgotten all about it. I bet I do it soon. Great Queens think alike. Blessings

I have made that before too! It is so yummy!!
Hi Jamie! that looks so yummy! I ate dinty moore stew before I was married and was living on my own... it's really inexpensive and less time consuming than making it. I like cooking but not all the time and this is great for those quick meals!!...The tea recipe looks wonderful...It was so hot today too.hugs, Jennifer
Hi Jamie!
I have to know. Did you get your set of bowls at Frys today? I stopped at one by my work today and they had them for $8.99. She said each store manager clearances them at their descretion on time. That Fry's were not that low, however even $8.99 is low. Hope you got a good deal too. Thanks for stopping by Country Wings in Phoenix. "Country Hugs", Sherry
