DEJA BLUE!!!!!!!!!

First stop the Scottsdale Civic Center, I have wanted to stop here for a while and get some fun LOVE photos!!!!Lucky for us, it was a busy Friday night with lots of couples lounging about doing the same thing!!! One couple was having a lawn picnic and one couple was kissing away!!! Needless to say we didn't ask those two couples!!!!
We had dinner reservations at Scottsdale's Gainey Ranch resort, so that is why the title is Deja Blue, not Deja Vu, yes, we have had dinner here twice before so instead of deja vu it's deja blue as we are wearing blue!!!!The ALTO restaurant is an amazing Italian restaurant. We both had the Caprese di pomodoro, it was grilled tomato's with cheese and served in olive oil, different for my limited taste buds but very good. For dinner I had the fettuccine bolognese the meat in this was veal and it was so tender and good, Chuck ordered the pollo portofino and he said his was alive with flavor!!!!
The KING of the castle!!!! My darling... can I say awe........
This is where we sat alfresco, Italian translation means outside!!!!It's nestled around flowers and small waterfalls thus creating a very inviting romantic atmosphere.
Then we walked over to the gondola's for our romantic cruise along the resort's waterways. Our gondolier Brian sang us a romantic Italian ballad along the way.
LA DOLCE VIDA!!!!! Translation--THE SWEET LIFE!!!!!!! CIAO!!!!!!!

Oh, what a great night for you 2! The only thing that would have topped it would have been actually a trip to Italy!:) Glad you celebrated in style...and yes that restaurant is AMAZING!:)

I popped over here from 'Love of a Teddy Bear' all because your 'signature' is Mimi. I already blog-correspond with two other Mimis so I had to see who belonged to this 'Mimi' too. Hope you don't mind.
I'm a grandmother too and love posting about my little cupcakes.
I'm totally in love with your Header photo. Those little wings melt my heart. : )

How romantic. That is what keeps couples going. I know, after 50 years. I still love my HH, even more I think. Blessings
