Happy 33rd Anniversary to "My Only Man and my Baby-Baby"
It all started in high school where we met each other, I was a freshmen and Chuck was a senior, after Chuck graduated I thought he had walked out of my life forever. Then one Sunday he walked into my church and into my heart forever. We started dating in Jan. 1975 and on July 4th 1975 we were up north in Prescott, Az at his parents cabin with my sister and brother-in-law when Chuck dropped down on one knee and proposed!!! I thought maybe he was kidding since there was No ring!!!!After a few weeks a beautiful sparkling diamond appeared on that very important left ring finger!!!!My birthday is in January and have a Red birthstone, Chuck's birthday is in September and has a blue birthstone, so I wanted a Red-White-Blue wedding, as the country was celebrating it's Bi-Centennial. Chuck did not like that color scheme and being the sweet naive young girl I was --Haha, I changed it to Mint green my favorite color at the time!!! Who would have thought he would like mint green more then Red-White-and Blue!! I think with all the hype over the Bi-Centennial he just didn't want it to look like a 4th of July wedding!!! I never realized how long I have been Patriotic and how RED-WHITE-and BLUE blooded I was til several years later!!!! I think looking back now, we Both wished we had gone with the Red-white and blue theme!!!Here we are 33 years later, still deeply in love with each other, the old saying that your love grows more and more each year you are married is so true, my heart has expanded and grown with love every year. Thanks for loving me and making me laugh all these years!!!!Here's to 33 more wonderful years together!!!
