Pink Saturday and Neighborhood Happy Hour!!!

This is our neighborhood's monthly Happy hour and it's pink Saturday so I wore Pink to the gathering!!!
I even wore my new Pink Flip Flops!!!!
It is so fun that our neighborhood gets together once a month for a fun time. It has been so exciting getting to know everyone so much better then just a casual Hello.
This month Bob and Donna hosted it. He works in Cleveland, Ohio now and they fly in and out to both of their homes, so it was good to get to spend some time with them. Donna is originally from Savannah, Georgia so she is just a sweet southern belle!!!
This is Jennifer, Kevin and his wife Sheri and Lisa who's husband is a pilot and not able to make it.
Donna, our hostess with the mostest, Carrie and Rebecca. Carrie's husband works out of town occasionally and was gone and of course Rebecca's husband Steve is the Canine Cop and had to work tonight. Just a tidbit of info Aaron Francisco the Safety for the Arizona Cardinals lives just around the corner of us and sometimes they are at our Happy hour party's, but not tonight.
After happy hour we met up with Corie and Camdyn at Arriba's for a bite to eat!!!!
Camdyn says "I want a big chip Mommy"!!!!!

Wow thats lovely and so sweet!!!
U guys are really lucky and i should say that u really have nice neighbors, gatherings n that too with neighbors is something one cant think of these days...as with friends its becoming so difficult. There are one or two neighbors in my apartment that we have hardly talked with each other. Thats really nice to see this atleast one comes to know eachother and share problems and the best part enjoy!!!

Seems u had a blast...n the last pic of an angel was the icing on the cake!!!

Thanks for spreading good n positive vibes...lol!!

take care....n u have a lovely blog!!!

What a great thing for the neighborhood to do. We barely know or see our neighbors. So sad. Our last home was on a cul-de-sac and all the neighbors knew each other. It's sad to live so close to others and not know them at all. Looks like everyone had a great time. Hugs, Marty

Our neighborhood has a block party once a year. Most of us have big backyards and there is not much going on in the front, since we are on a cul-de-sac but our backyards make a nice play area. I love your pink flip flops and pink toes. Blessings

Jamie, I have got to have a pair of the flip flops. Now spit it out, where did they come from. You looked precious right down to the nail polish. So sweet. How wonderful to have such nice neighbors that you all get together. Pop over and see my Sunday post. I have something to share. Happy Sunday! "Country Hugs", Sherry

Hi Jaime, I know it has been awhile since i commented on your blog but first...Thank you so very much for the kind words you left on mine. OK, the picture of chuck and his brother and father is beautiful!! Did you take that portrait??? It was perfect!! So I send your Dad Happy Birthday Wishes!!... The room Redo is gorgeous!!! I love the way the bottom of the wall is painted and all the little details...Very nice job, tell your daughter I don't like heights either : )... I'm with everyone else, I love the flip flops!! It's so nice that your neighborhood has a get together, where I live people aren't as kind and neighbors pretty much keep to themselves UNLESS there is gossip to be told then they scurry like mice...The one neighbor of ours is really nice and they keep to themselves like we do, we both get along well. It just seems like when a lot of the original neighbors from our subdivision moved out things changed. There was a time years ago that are neighborhood was like yours. Well, I hope you have a beautiful sunday! Hugs, Jennifer

You are so lucky to have such fun good neighbors! What a perfect way to get to know eachother, and have fun. Thats how it is in Utah. Your neighbors are just your 2nd family Good thing we found Will and Corie and you guys on our walk around the block. You just can't get better neighbors then that! We are so glad we have found you and Corie and what good friends you are.

Jamie!
You have got to get a hummingbird feeder and the food and hang it up for your hummers. They would be so happy. This is nesting season for the hummers and with the heat we are having they are desperately searching for food. Not as many flowers to get anything from. I absolutely love watching them. Wal-Mart has the best prices on the feeders and food. I buy the kind you mix yourself, and it is red. I had it in the garage fridge, and somebody thought it was kool-aid. Boy were they surprised. I store it in a jar clearing marked now. I hope you will give it a try. I hang mine where I can watch them, and in an area that has a little shade. I only fill it about half full and I change it every few days if there is any left. Keep me posted. Going through the steps of purchasing one and hanging it for the hummers would be a great Outdoor Wednesday post.
