I never thought going to see Disney's new 3-D movie UP would be such a serendipitous adventure!!! But it was!!! Now for those of you not aware of what this means let me explain what a Serendipitous moment is:
happening upon something good when not in search of it.This movie although an animated movie is to me meant for adults to see!!! Reason being, it is about a young boy named Carl and his beloved friend named Ellie, it is the journal of their life. They promised, crossed their hearts promised to make a trip to South America and see Paradise Falls. Before this trip could happen, life took on very many twists and turns and before you know it, they are both old and Ellie dies. Lesson here, if you make a promise, Keep IT!!! Lesson two, do things together so that you have no Regrets!!! Take those vacations you've always wanted to take as we all know Life is short and we may not get a second chance. I cried like a baby when Carl was looking through Ellie's old Adventure book, but Carl decided he still had time for New Adventures in his life with his new friend Russell. Go see UP for an UPLIFTING feel good movie!!!!

Hi Mimi
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such a fun comment. I was happy to see that you were able to see my Yankee photos in my post as they have somehow disappeared this evening -- maybe a blogspot problem? It was frustrating for me to see that.
It's so cool you've met Babe Ruth's daughter and Derek Jeter and Harvey Kietel! I've heard from a few people that Jeter is shy.
I haven't seen the movie "Up" as yet but the previews made me smile. After reading your review I definitely want to see it!
Thanks!
Hi Mrs Mimi!
Thank you for stopping by my blog, I'm sorry about the loss of your father, my heart goes out to you. I never knew my father (divorced) my husband has two grown kids but it's a very strained relationship and they basically treat him aweful and have for many years. I have celebrated fathers day with my husband since we were first married. This year I made enchiladas and spanish rice and a taco salad we had a nice dinner tonight and then sunday we enjoy the leftovers and I will make his favorite chocolate chip cookies. I also give him a card with all our dogs and cats names in it since we treat them like our fur"kids" anyway. It also makes my husband feel like it is a special day for him and he doesn't feel so hurt. Have a nice weekend! hugs, Jennifer
Dear MIMI,
I found your precious blog through Jennifer at For The Love Of A Teddy Bear. Princess Camdyn...I love the heading picture with her in pink with heavenly pink wings...priceless picture.
I am so sorry your dad has passed on...I still have my daddy although he is 78 years old, I can't imagine the pain you have to not have him with you.
I joined as a follower and look forward to getting to know you.
hugs
debbie
