Tasty Treats Tuesday times 2!!!!!!!

For breakfast I made Red/White and Blue Yogurt Parfaits!!!!Blueberries, Strawberries and Vanilla Yogurt!!!
I decided for dinner to try something a little different, instead of traditional sloppy joes, I made Hawaiian sloppy joes!!! Fry up as much bacon as you would like, I used a 12 ounce package.Fry up crispy as you'll need to crumble it up.
Add ground beef or ground turkey, I used 2 1/2 pounds of ground beef to feed 6 of us. For the sauce use what ever recipe you normally use, or you can always use Manwich, we don't really like manwich so I used 3 cans of 8 ounce tomato sauce, worcestershire sauce and seasonings. Then to make it Hawaiian, add in the crumbled bacon and a small can of crushed pineapple!!!
There you have it a fun twist to an old favorite!!!
To add to the fun, I thought I'd try and decorate the table in Hawaiian items!!!
Hawaiian doll, a pineapple flavored candle, seashells, a flower lei and a few Hawaiian Ornaments.
Our little 4th of July baby waving her own little flag!!!Look what I got; a wonderful 4th of July Banner from my dear friend over at House of Whimsy!!!!! Thanks for saving it for me on your shop!!
Then we went outside, because that is where this sweet little baby wants to be 90% of the time!!!!She loves to stop and talk to her friend Mickey Mouse!!!
Dessert!!! Ice cream cones with Red/White and No more Blues Ice Cream!!!!
Yummy, that's so good!!!

Love the Hawaiian sloppy joes idea. The breakfast looks yummy. I wish I could get hubs to eat things like that. Got to be ham or bacon and eggs. Of course I can fix it for me. That baby is precious. She is always dressed so cute. Blessings

Oh Jamie! What a wonderful post. I think I would like to have been at your table for supper. I am going to have to try that manwhich switch. Sounds delish. Thanks for sharing. I love the sweetie in her red, white and blue. What a precious picture of the two of you. Memories to save for a lifetime. They grow so fast. Her ice cream cone pic is also precious and I loved the banner. Thanks for stopping by this morning. "Country Hugs", Sherry

We tried for months to get the family together for a weekly dinner but it ended up being stressful for everyone:( We do much better "on the fly" those times when everyone just happens to stop by at the same time are the best:) I'd love to be at YOUR dinners!
By the way my son say Adobe Photoshop is the best so it seems like you're set! Kathy

Your table setting is so cute!
Not only do you have tasty food to serve, but you have a cute, cute atmoshere to serve your family in.
This made me smile!

We have many projects going on in our home that the interior causes such a disturbance to having order that I am struggling to stay orderly.

Your sweetie (Grandbaby) is darling. What enjoyment these children bring. They are a huge blessing to a Grandma's soul.

Your post inspired me and lifted my spirits. Thank you.

Blessings to you,
~D~
ps my word verification is foode. ha ha

but liked the idea about decorating the tables with different themes

Also I must be honest in saying I am looking forward to learning how to use it with you. I still don't know how to use mine all the way. So maybe we can take a class together now!
