Brush with fame game monday---Sarah Palin and John McCain and families!!!!

I was lucky enough to get to go to the Republican Party last election year night, as we all know the election did not turn out the WAY I had hoped and worked so hard for. But I was happy to have gotten VIP tickets from our good friends Congressman Trent Franks. After several hours we were told to go outside to the lawn area and that John McCain and Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin would address the crowd, as we all know now, Sarah Plain was Not given a chance to speak. In real life this lady is very tiny!!!!It was a very sad night for all in attendance.
She handled all of this with dignity and grace and mostly stood on that stage and wiped away tears.

He also was a Gracious loser, even after conceding the race, the crowd booed, and he said NO-No we will not start off this way, let's give this guy a chance and offer our support , well I say NO WAY TO THAT!!!!!I think we all are starting to think twice about his BIG CHANGE Campaign theme!!!!!Maybe change is a Bad thing!!!!!
The families there for support!!!
I had made a couple of signs and brought them with me, within minutes of being at the rally, I was approached by at least 3-4 local shows including EXTRA, and at least 6 foreign news media!!! I think they liked my signs and maybe I was wearing the right color!!!! I had no idea the color for the night was GOLD!!!!!!!
My friend Donna and I!!!! Standing in the crowd not far from us was JON VOIGHT, my camera's battery died, so Donna got a picture of JON Voight and I but it is on her camera card, she e-mailed it to me that night, but that was before I blogged and I did not save it, I will ask her to send it to me again!!!!!!And I'll add it another Monday!!!!!
Sarah's book has hit the stores and Of Course it is a NUMBER 1 on the list!!!!! I will be getting this book soon!!!!!!

How nice that you were able to be there. I was really sad too when Mc Cain didn't win. He is a really nice and sensible man. I hope things turn around soon, right now things are really bad for so many people. I hope you have a very Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving. Hugs, Marty

Oohh Jamie..
I am going to start hanging out with you more often. You get to meet the most wonderful and interesting people. You must be living right.

The pic of you with your sign is my favorite. You and the lipstick. Wait until you see what I am mailing off to you tomorrow. You are going to be ecstatic.

Love you sweetie. Have a beautiful day. Hugs and love..Sherry

Dearest Jamie,
May you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! You're gonna be real busy fixin' all the food. God bless you with energy.

Every year I look forward to the dressing. I know we can have it just about anyday of the week, but there's just something about dressing at Thanksgiving that makes it magical.

'Brush with Fame Game Monday' is full of surprises. Waiting to see who's next!

Take care,
d

Let me know how the book is!

Yes, my daughter moved out in August to her own place and took everything in her room and several pieces in my office.

So I was left with a neon green shell and it needed a paint job.
She helped to select the color and loves to come stay in the room. :)

I was hoping the election would come out better but knew this is what would happen. We will survive this too!

Well! We didn't go to the party....BUT! Trent and Josie Franks are long time members of our church as is Cindy McCain... John McCain attended all through the champagne. Jon Kyle showed up a couple of times too.... Last week my daughter and I had lunch at the Market Bistro and John Shaddag was there having lunch.
Of course...I don't KNOW any of these people.... :) I just see them all the time.

I hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving!! :)

Hi Jamie,

I intend to work really hard on the campaign in 2012 so that we don't have another 4 years like this!!
My sister lives a few blocks from one of John McCain's houses. It was up for sale last time we were out there so its probably not his anymore. That's about as close to him as I got! LOL

Sending "Happy Thanksgiving" wishes to you & your family. Enjoy seeing it through Camdyn's eyes, for our grandchildren change our perspective on everything.

fondly,
Rett
