PINK EVERYWHERE!!!!!!! Breast Cancer 3 day Walk for the Cure!!!!

One of my dear friends a breast cancer survivor is walking in the 3 day 60 mile Breast cancer walk for a cure!!!!I went today and waited to CHEER her on!!!These little signs kept the walkers where they need to go!!!! Made it easier for me to find them as it weaved in and out of neighborhoods as well as the main roads!!! I was NOT the only one Honking at all of them!!!!
This team of helpers was taking down one Pit stop after the walkers pass it by!!!!I stopped to ask if I was to late, they said NOPE!!!!
I arrived at Pit stop #4, got out walked all over asked where her team was and was told they were already back out walking!!! So back in my car again and off to find Jenny!!!!Where's my friend Jenny?????
The guy in the bra was so cute I had to sneak and get a pic of him!!!!
Some of the cute walkers, I stopped and asked if I could take their pic, and they said of course!!!!!
The rest of the Angel walkers!!!!
Is that Jenny's group?????

I was amazed at the high energy these ladies and a few men had after walking nearly 16 miles!!!!
Just 4 more to go today!!!!The courage of these survivors make this a very enlightening walk and you will be moved by their enthusiasm that they know they will make it by the Power of the individual and the Power of many!!!!!That is what I read on many of the signs today!!!!
Way to go Jenny!!! I am Proud of you!!!!

Hello! Thanks for stopping by glad you liked the sketch of Sherry.
The paint we used on the bed was regular water based wall paint. It took several days to dry.

I can see why you would be so very proud of Jenny and anyone doing the walk. It's for one of the greatest causes there are. They all deserved a pedicure after that, boy doesn't that sound so good, Happy Pink Saturday my friend, and lets not be strangers, Char

Jamie,
I was able to do this walk a couple years ago. It was the most amazing 3 days of my life. The people you meet along the way and the stories you here back at camp are almost overwhelming. You laugh, cry, dance with everyone you meet. I will share my story and pics someday. The one memory from the walk that I have was a lady who trained for months, was a survivor, and a week before the walk broke her foot. She had a cast and a boot on her foot...she finished the first day, which was 20 miles, 1/2 of the second day and cheered everyone on for the rest...seriously, she was the most inspirational woman I met those 3 days. Thank you for stopping by to support and cheer on all of the people that walked for this cure!
Love,
Chrissy

Yes Mimi, that is a great cause. We have a two day Relay for Life every year and the first year my daughter was a survivor of Cervical Ca. I walked with her In the survivors walk. She has been walking every year since. I am a skin cancer survivor but I am thankful it was no more serious and caught early. You and your friend did great.
