Field trip to the Science Museum!!!!

Today my daughter, grand-daughter, her best friend since 7th grade, her 2 kiddos, my niece and her 2 kiddos and I went to the Science Museum, Since both of these great Mommies home school their kids, I thought what better place to go to catch up with them!!!!!We have an annual pass to the museum, so we love to go!!!!!
First stop up to the 3rd floor to "digital world"!!!! The kids loved playing on the computers animating themselves!!!! Camdyn is not even 2 but loves to play on the computer already!!!!
She loved watching her character dance around, I think she forgot to color in her skirt!!!!!
Liz helping her kids decide what color to choose!!!
Jasmine helping her little one!!!!
In this area, there were color circles on the floor and if you walk over them or wave your hand over them, you hear different sounds depending on what button you pick, as in drums, do-re-me, animals, well as soon as we picked animals and Camdyn heard the COWS, she went NUTS!!!!!! She kept waving her hands over it again and again!!!!!
On this computer you could animate yourself to an alien, Marie Antoinette, or all kinds of weird things!!!! Here is my daughter as Marie Antoinette!!!!!
Camdyn as Alien baby!!!!
On the 2nd floor, they had this awesome section called Forces of Nature, it had tornados, hurricanes, volcanos, thunder, lightening, rain, and earthquakes. The heat was intense for the volcano, the thunder rumbled beneath you, the wind was really blowing for the tornados and then came the rain, some of them got really wet!!!!!
What was that?????
The wind is blowing!!!!!And here comes that rain!!!!
Next section was Get charged up, it teaches you how and why things work, laying on a bed of nails, hmmmm... no idea!!!!!
Balls in the air is alot of fun to an almost 2 year old!!!!
Pulleys!!!!
twirling!!!!
All the kids loved this playing area!!!! There was a fruit tree, a garden, a house with tools to build on to it!!!!
Don't forget your hard hat!!!
look at Chloe's garden grow!!!!
Then it was out to lunch time!!!!!
What a fun day!!!!

What a great day. I worked in the Museum of Natural History for two years and didn't get bored with the exhibitions for a minute. Loved walking through the different halls at night going out. It really was sort of "Night at the Museum."

Oh Jamie...
What great fun you had sweetie. I love it. I haven't been to that museum. I must add it to my list of things I would love to do here in the valley. When you work the long hours that I do, you really don't have the daylight to do these things. Weekends seem to have me running trying to catch up.

I don't think I will be able to go with you gals to Prescott. I have issues with my neuropathy right now, and the cold would not be good for me. Sorry, as I know you gals will have a wonderful time. Thanks for the invite though. I love you for it.

Have a beautiful day sweetie. Thanks again for sharing. Country hugs and so much love. Love ya always, Sherry

Hi Jamie. What a fun day this was! I wanna go!
I just spent 20 mins reading some of your back posts. I especially loved the post of the snow! And little one having a hissy fit over not being able to snowboard. Too flippin' cute!
I need your Email address!!!
HAGD! Karen

It looks like you guys had another really fun day. Camdyn is just so fun to see in all of your pictures, she is so animated you can almost hear her squeal. Such a cutie. I talked to Ceekay, and I know that she is really trying to rest and get some strength back, so we will just settle for lunch when everyone is feeling a little better. That would be fun too. Hope you are having a great day. Hugs, Marty

Museums like that are one of my favorite things to do with kids (and without!) We are fortunate that here in Northern California we've got a few really good ones to choose from.

Thanks for the tour of your museum. One day I'm going to get out to Arizona again. We had a quick first trip to Sedona about a year ago. A four day weekend that went too fast! It was just enough time to let me know that I want to go back!

I Loooooove all these adorable photos of Camdyn. She always has a look of wonder on her face. And is always dressed so cute!
I also scrolled down to see that she has learned how to roll her tongue. How cute is that!! :D
Happy belated birthday, Jamie! Looks like it was a great one.
Take care,
Mary Lou

Jamie, This day at the science museum looks like a fantastic place to visit. Great fun!
Have a lovely week-end.
I'm hoping to stay out of the cold...more snow expected to blow in and this makes me want the spring to arrive alittle earlier.
God bless,
