When do you go to the Lord in Prayer????

Are you Praying as if God is your spare tire???? I need help with my family, my finances my health or my own peace of mind????
Or are you Praying as if God is your Steering Wheel????I hope that I am in this group. As our Pastor stated Sunday, we should enter his gates with Thanksgiving and into his courts with praise, we should give him thanks and Praise his Name!!!!He gave us a few examples of scripture that teaches us how to Pray and have God in our lives. Galations 2:20, says Christ lives in us and we live by the faith of the son of God. Joshua 24:15 says that As for me and my household we will serve the Lord, make a decision today to serve God!!!!2nd Chronicles 7:14 says that if the people who are called by my name will humble themselves and Pray and TURN from their wicked ways, then He will hear us and forgive our sins and HEAL our Land!!!!So we do Have hope in Christ Jesus!!!!

Trying hard to let Him steer! Fact is, He is steering, so we might as well let go of the wheel!

Dear Jamie,
My God is my everything.
I enter into prayer all the time.
He's my garage that houses my auto!!! I love Him so and desperately need Him all the time.

I like your post and praise God for you, my blogging buddy.
God bless you,
d

One of the hardest things for me....to "Be still & know that I am..."

My prayers have been answered this week, Jamie, as hubby is doing so much better with a reduction in his meds. PTL He's got some energy back & was even singing today. :D

Thanks for asking about him & please tell your DD I've sent her an email regarding the Minnie dress.

I like Nancygrayce's comment....he is steering...so we may as well let go of the wheel! So true, but for us control freaks, that is a constant struggle! Life would be so much easier if we gave him the wheel freely and didn't keep jerking on it, like I do when Chase drive me somewhere! I need to work on that!
Love ya Julie

Right now I feel so BLESSED. It could have been easy to become overwhelmed this week. I will go further into details tomorrow on my blog. But after seeing the images of Haiti~ wow, I really don't have any problems at all. God is SO good about keeping things in perspective.

Every day and in every way...

Prayer helps during the difficult times and confirms/acknowledges goodness when things are going well.

Thank you for the inspirational post.

You are so right. The Lord is in charge, and really knows whats best for us. Some times it's hard to trust cuz you want something else, but in the end he is all knowing and all loving. What a blessing it is to have God.Praying is what gets us through this life. We are so blessed and I know I couldn't do this with without my Heavenly Father. Have fun with weekend!
