Brush with fame game Monday!! Mitt Romney

Mitt Romney was in Phoenix last week promoting his new book, No Apology, the case for American Greatness. We got to Border's Bookstore at the Arizona Biltmore shopping Center at around 5 p.m., we thought for sure all the arm bands would be gone before we got there, but they still had alot left, we were given an orange one, so we were the 2nd group to get to meet him!!!!He was so nice and quite funny, he commented about my ring and I assumed he was talking about my new LARGE Fake ring, a pic of that to come soon, but he said "No I am talking about that other big stoned ring!!" He said" you must be well loved" and I said Yes I am!!!!haha

What are these things?????
Here is our good friend Krystal meeting Mitt!!!
And Krystal's Mom Judy is telling him about Joy Behar nearly chewing her finger nails off when he appeared on the VIEW!!! Joy was steaming and so nervous around him!!!
Waiting those 2 hours for him to appear!!!
He stood up on a chair so everyone could see him and more importantly hear him!!!!
We quite possible may have shaken the hand of the next President!!!!

That was a fun night out. I am so sad today after that health bill pasted last night. What is America coming to? I forgot how we can get that free picture. You will have to let me know. How funny that he noticed your ring. See he is a good guy! Love your outfit that day! Looks like you guys had a busy fun weekend. I just loved MIss C outfit on St. P day! I have yet to take my kids on the train at the mall. Looks like fun. HOw cute in Miss C in her picture with the bunny?! KJ didn't want to go up to him this year. So be glad Miss C loved him. Maybe now that we've done Disney we will have to try to see if she will give the bunny another chance. Looks like Spring is ready at your house. Love all the flowers. This is just such a beautiful time of year!

Hi Jamie!
My little Junior Miss is lying down for her afternoon nap and I poured myself a rootbeer and thought I'd surf the net. I don't usually have a rtbeer this early in the day...Mitt Romney!!!

I would imagine his book is great. Perhaps you'll do a book review. I'd like to know your thoughts on his book.
Have a sweet week and God Bless,
d

Good Morning!

So you like Charleston S.C.? I've never been there, but now, you made is sound so nice, I want to visit.

I did read that Reese's Great, great, great grandfather signed the declaration of Independence.

We have a couple of stucco homes out this way too.

Camdyn is almost 2 - she is precious. At least she didn't cry when she said on his lap. These times are the best times. I know you are enjoying her so much.

Can't say I love to iron though.

Take care and will talk to you later.

Have a good day.

My darling Jamie or should I address you as Your Majesty (noticed the Queen of Household) how are you my friend. Princess Camdyn looks adorable in her little bonnet. God Bless her and keep her safe. I see another celebrity get together here, what is your secret darling, do share with me. Famous people that I can name that I have come across are Sir Elton John and Earl Spencer, Princess Diana's brother with whom I had afternoon tea with. One day when you and I meet, I will share with you my afternoon tea story and will show you my photos with the Earl. Sweetiw, wishing you and your family a blessed and happy spring season. Kiss Princess Camdyn for me and have fun with her.

Love & Hugs

Oh Jamie

You have no idea what a nerve you touched when you mentioned White Christmas on my blog.
White Christmas is a BIG DEAL .
My Aunt and Uncle had their first date to see this movie :)
My Uncle would tell us about it every year :)
A year later he proposed after they saw this movie and he was in the military so it was a big deal .
When I was younger we had family Christmas at their home for many years .
White Christmas came on Television every year and all of us cousins would pile up on the bed and all around in the floor to watch this movie and we all knew it by heart line by line !
the older ones had to keep the younger folks busy while waiting for Santa to arrive :)
My Daddy was the oldest of all his siblings and so he became the family Santa for a very long time.
My hubby and I and our own family enjoyed and quoted this movie amongst ourselves.
That is until one year hubby wanted a divorce in the middle of this movie ,I thought I would die of heart break as I really got blind sided .
Oh how I want to get past all the hurt and get back to the good this movie once invoked .
I have never told anyone what happened as this is such a sweet family treasure I did not want to take it away from anyone else.
However my heart always hurts when the movie comes on or family members start quoting it .
I have been praying to forget
the hurt and embrace the good
for a long time now
and when you mentioned it
on my blog it seemed like
a sign that God was at work :)
Please email me sweetie if you can .

Blessings of joy to you and yours !

Cannon camera's are the only ones that have that feature! Get your manuel out and check, I'm sure you can do it.

Sounds like a nice book signing. So funny that Mitt noticed your ring. Usually it's women that notice things like that!
