SpRiNg iT oN!!!!

Today is the first day of spring so I thought I would show you all what we did on this first day!!A little tour around the yard first!!!My sister painted this planter and gave it to me while I was in Seattle visiting!!! You should see the stuff she paints!!! I will be posting about it soon!!! This is by far one of the loveliest planters I have ever had!!! I love that she made this for me, she also loves to plant flowers outside and I so love to sit out back and stare at this one!!!!!
Some of my beautiful roses!!! I have 12 rose bushes all of different colors and I can never pick a favorite!!!
My pink bougainvillea, I love this plant, only I call it's droppings Nature's Confetti!!!
My spring flowers!!!
Pink Hibiscus!!!Love this!!!!
Camdyn looking over Mimi's new flowers!!!
Community Yard Sale Day!!!! Up at 6 a.m. to get ready and finish up a few things before it starts at 8!!!From the moment I opened the garage door, it was a stream of cars, sometimes 5-10 cars at my house, I had to hurry and move my garbage can so the garbage truck could get to it!!!!
My neighbor's across the street with their stuff for sale!!!!
Funding C.J.'s( our neighbor's son) college fund!!!!
Now that we sold most of our "old stuff", it was time to hit the mall for some new stuff!!!!Meeting the Easter Bunny!!!! I think I like him, or is she Praying about this!!!!
Tickets-Tickets Please!!!!
Riding the Choo-Choo at the Mall!!!!
Tonight we were invited over to our neighbor's house for a dinner party/game night!!The food was so good and playing the game was like being at home!!! So much competition!!!Here is Kathy on the left sitting around their patio fireplace, waiting for John to get back with S'more ingredients!!!!
Getting ready to Play Trivial Pursuit on Wii, boys against the girls and the girls whooped on the boys!!!!
Our neighbor's daughter Kiley posing with all the great food!!!

Oh Jamie Sweetie...
What a wonderful time you had. Looks like a lot of fun. How nice that you and your neighbors get together like that.

I love your garden and the beautiful flowers. So gorgeous, and I adore the flower pot that your sister painted you. How beautiful is that? She does a gorgeous job.

The sweeti picture of Ms "C" with the Easter Bunny. Priceless. It appears that she is praying she can get out of this garden soon.

Now she sure was tickled with her ticket for the train. That part she loved. I love it. I will email you my list of ladies. I believe I have about 8-10 including me. It is still up in the air about CeeKay whether she can come or not, and Jenny Matlock was still unsure, I will check with her tomorrow. How many do you have?

I will email you a list tomorrow. Love ya sweetie...Sherry

I wanna move to YOUR neighborhood!!! Having been to AZ many, many times to visit my baby sis, I recognize many of your beautiful flowers. One time, I was making dinner while they were both at work & I cut some pink bougainvillea for a vase on the table. Looked great that night but in the morning, all the petals were off. :(

Your sweetheart, Camdyn, looks so adorable with the Easter Bunny and I especially ♥ that shot of her laughing with her mom at the table...priceless!

I gather by Sherry's post above that you AZ gals are getting together again. I'm soooo jealous! Have a great time & tell everyone I said "hi".

I want to move to your neighborhood too! Bet it is not just the neighborhood though - bet you have a lot to do with it.

Your daughter is a beautiful girl by the way and so it your granddaughter. How did seeing the bunny go? Did she cry?

And all those flowers are like God's painting palette.

Love,

Sandie

Glad you had fun with all the neighbors! You seriously live on the real life Wisteria lane...minus all the weird stuff. It really is a fun neighborhood! Camdyn LOVES that train at the mall! So glad it makes our shopping experience more fun for her too!

Jamie! What beautiful flowers you have and I so love that painted flower pot your sister painted! What a lovely talent that is to be able to paint.

Thanks for leaving me such a kind comment on my blog this morning.
When you said it would be ok with you if I laid my head on your lap during church and take a nap, it brought tears to my eyes. That's about one of the nicest things anyone has ever said to me!

Blessings sweet friend.

Miss C does not look happy. The Easter Bunny can be a little ominous!

It's been years since we've had a yard sale. I think they are always so much fun. I never made much money. And what I did make, I would usually walk around the neighborhood and buy my neighbors stuff at their yard sale!
