President George W. Bush--my Last Brush with fame game person!!!!

I first saw George W. Bush at an event in Flagstaff, AZ in 2002!!!It was an amazing thing to watch all those cars that are a part of his Motorcade drive up!!!!
We had to get there very early 2 -3 hours prior, when we arrived it was cool but sunny, and then it started raining and became very cold very fast!!!!We did not have coats or umbrellas with us, so we were freezing!!!!
I got very involved in the 2004 campaign and I worked very hard, at the Republican phone center and walking door to door to get signatures to keep Republican candidates on the ballot. SO it was quite an honor to get an invitation to the Inaugural festivities!!!!My husband dislikes large crowds, so my sister Reda went with me!!!Some of our friends also were going so we decided to get a suite with them. It was a very fun busy week!!!!
Meeting Arizona Senator Jon Kyle!!!
Our ticket for the concert the night before the election, it was held out on the Ellipse in front of the White House!!!
It started Snowing the day before the election!!!!So we decided to pass on the concert and instead go to the Arizona Inaugural ball!!!! It was held inside the Smithsonian Native American Museum!!!

This is MY Congressman Jeff Flake and his wife and one of his 5 children!!!!
Congressman John Shadegg, he was so sweet and hosted a breakfast at his office that we were invited to and also gave us a VIP tour of the US Capitol Building!!!Sadly Jon Shadegg, one of the only 3 remaining Republican Congressmen in Arizona is retiring this year.

Our ticket to the INAUGURATION!!!! We wanted to get there very early, even though you have a ticket, you do not have an assigned seat or spot, just open standing!!!!The seats are reserved for very important people!!!!It was a cold 3 hours or so, it had snowed about 3-4 inches the day before, so I cleared away the snow and just stood there or jumped about the entire time!!! It was so MAGICAL And EXCITING to be there the time flew by!!!
My sister and I in front of the Capitol building!!!!I have my ear muffs on!!!!I had a really cute coat to wear too but opted for the WARM DOWN Jacket instead!!! Warmth is more important!!!My sister is from Chicago and she was freezing too!!!!
aPresident George W. Bush being sworn in!!!!At this point I was crying!!!What an honor to witness this in person!!!
Waving at the crowd
Our ticket to the parade!!!We had great bleacher seats for this!!!
Here comes the President!!!
If you look close you can see him waving!!!
Our ticket to the Inaugural Ball!!!
George and Laura making an appearance at one of the 9 balls they went too!!!!It was so awesome!!!!
Taking their dance!!!!
Vice President Dick Cheney and his wife Lynn appear!!!
I wore a Red Ball gown!!!
Congressman Trent Franks and his wife Josie and I at the Ball!!!!
At Midnight I had to hurry home!!!!haha

I am finished with all my celebrities!!!
I hope you all have enjoyed seeing them all as I have enjoyed showing them and seeing them all again!!!
Keeping my fingers crossed for a minor "extra" role in the movie being shot here in town right now, it stars Will Farrell and it is called "Everything must go"
I'll keep you posted!!!!
I may start a new Monday Series, my visits to all 50 states!!!!

How very exciting to see history in the making! I would have been jumping up and down too (partly just to keep warm though!)

Great photos!

I would have loved to be a part of all that! I, in no way, think that is your last celebrity! I just know you'll meet many more.

Seaside is a neat little place about 40 minutes from where we live. I've been there many times, but never stayed there. There was a Jim Carrey movie filmed there....I can't think of the name right now.
