Things to do in the summer---Science Museum!!!!

Today I decided to take Miss C to the Science Museum. My neighbor's daughter fell playing basketball and cannot swim or play outside now, so we asked if she would like to come along with us!! And she said "Of course I would love too!!!" We stopped at Mimi's cafe and had breakfast first.
Look at her cute light blue cast, poor thing, she gets it off just in time for school to start again. The kids in my neighborhood only get 6 weeks off in the summer as they go to school year around!!!!
We also made a stop at Historic Rosson house, "preserving the past, living the present and Anticipating the future!!!"
So cute!!!!

Off to have some fun exploring the science museum!!!!Here you can express yourself on the computer!!!

Look how cute they are here!!!!I think this shot is Alien babies!!!

The weather section!!!
Waiting for the different types of weather!!!Miss C was very scared of the thunder and wind!!!The earthquake was scary to me!!!!
Very windy!!!
Big Ball!!!I told her this is Planet Earth!!
Getting geared up to ride the SKY CYCLE!!!!This special made bicycle is 2 stories up and goes across a cable 60 feet long!!!

My turn!!!After all you can only be a kid once???Nope forever!!!
It is kind of scary for the first 30 feet or so and then it is quite fun!!!
Planting her garden!!
Playing in the cute play house!!!
She decided she should maybe put the hard hat on, but quickly took it off!!!

Walking over the bumpy bridge!!!
Miss C had so much fun at the museum with her friend Miss A!!!!!

What fun!! Now that Zach is back from his first week of fun we will be heading there this week. He just LOVES going there...and it beats the heat anyday. I also LOVE the Rosson house. I did a study on the interior design of that home while I was in college for one of my dasign classes. Both stops are great choices!
Love,
Chrissy

Hello sis and I am so happy to be your new sister. I ask you to forgive me for pasting the same message on all of the sorority sisters bloggys as I am never a “cut and paster” but with the recent death of my son, I am overwhelmed right now and just wanted everyone of my new sisters to know I am following you and hope I will soon be able to truly visit you so we will get to know each other as a sister should. Thanks for visiting me. Mollye

Jamie, this would be a blast to visit. The kid-lings are having fun, obviously.

Mimi's Cafe is terrible out here ... I should do a review on how awful it is.

Glad you had a fabulous time.
Have a lovely summer's eve ~

Hi Jamie Sweetie...
Oh my gosh, I absolutely adore this post. What fun you guys had. I cannot believe you rode that bike across. Looks scary to me, and I just don't think I could do it. I love the photos you shared. You are just the sweetest little grammy ever. Ms "C" is so lucky to have you. You are able to spend so much time with her. I do good to spend a little time with each of mine maybe every other month. It is so hard to split me up.

Thank you for your prayers and love during my illness. I go back to the doc on July 9th and he will make a decision if I can be outside at that time or if I will have to wait a while longer. I go to see the ear, nose and throat specialist this Friday. He is going to go down my throat and take a look at my larynx. As I still very hoarse they want to make sure nothing else is going on that we need to be concerned with. I do not look forward to that at all.

Have a beautiful weekend sweetie. I hope to visit with you soon. I have missed you. Many hugs and so much love...Sherry
