Freshly produced AMBERGRIS has a marine fecal odor, imagine that if you can????
HOWEVER, as it ages it acquires a sweet earthy scent. The principal historical use of AMBERGRIS was/is as an ingredient in PERFUME!!!!Though it is rare and expensive so synthetics are mostly used now.
OK, this was a sermon at church recently and I wanted to let you in on something, I do not WANT to be AMBERGRIS to GOD, but rather a sweet fragrance unto him.
2 Corinthians 2:14-17 says
But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the FRAGRANCE of the knowledge of him.
For we are to GOD the Aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the Fragrance of Life.

I hope I am a sweet smell to those around me and that the smell of Christ is what emits from me.
