Pint Sized Patriot!!!!

I took Miss C out to get some pics of her in her 4th of July accessories, and it was HOT, at 6:30 p.m. it was still 108 degrees!!!!Luckily I brought water and so glad she was so cooperative!!!!I had to lay on the ground to get this one!!!She insisted that we bring Minnie Mouse along, Minnie held the flag as she decided she did not want to!!!
Then she was insistent that we walk over to the lake, this is on the golf course in the community we live in!!!I found this tree where the flag fit in between the branches perfectly!!!
I gave her the 4th of July pinwheel I have been saving for her and she knew exactly what to do!!!
Then we went over and sat by the lake for a little while, why is it that a 2 year old does not care how HOT it is????I wonder what she is thinking here??Maybe how nice a dip in that lake would feel right now!!!

Good Morning Jamie Sweetie...
I have to tell you Miss "C" looks so absolutely precious. I can't decide which photo is the best. I loved her little red dress and ofcourse what girl can be without accessories? Her bow is over the top gorgeous, and that little necklace is so her. I just want to hug her to pieces. What a cutie patootie.

Enjoy some fireworks for me on the 4th. I won't be seeing any this year. I will be watching for your pics. Are you having a BIG celebration with the kids and all?

I hope we can get together soon. It is getting hotter and hotter. Hopefully the doc will release me back to the outdoors on July 9th. I can't wait. Love ya sweetie.

So many hugs and much love, Sherry

Momma Mia...that's HOT! Sweet pics of your Grand. Hotter than a firecracker in July...am I funny or what? WHAT.

Jamie, I have a little gift for Ms C that I have been meaning to send and with thyroid adventure going on I got side tracked and running way behind. Hope to have it in the mail on Monday...it's for her birthday...that's how far behind I am...maybe it can be for her 2 and a half year mark!!!

We have plans to begin tearing into rebuilding the front porch for this 4th of July week-end! Cheers! I will be thankful when it is done, Lord willing we will start on the kitchen.

Have a sparkling good week-end and God Bless you, dear friend.

O'Riley would be proud...what a patriot! LOL

Her little face looks all red but she still is so darling in her little outfit. I can't believe she keeps those bows on. Our Ms. C. takes them out after about 20 mins. ;-)

I hope you have a Happy 4th of July...stay INSIDE!!

fondly,
Rett

Your little Miss C is just the cutest thing ever! I want to be a grandmother in the worst way but keep telling myself "all in God's timing Linda, all in God's timing!"

Yes, please email me. Even better yet, I'll be in Tempe in a few weeks and we can get together then. We are moving our daughter into her new apartment the 3rd week in July. I'll get your phone number before then!

What a perfect model for the 4th of July. She is so precious. I was so surprised when I saw the video of our son up this morning. I only put it on to post at a later date and forgot to change the post options. I did not intend for it to come up today. He is a chef but he works for IBM in Texas, so I don't get to enjoy his culinary arts much. He does all the cooking at his home.

Happy Independence Day, Jamie ~ Miss C is darling ... you may NOT want to know what she is thinking, chuckle!

Hope you all have a fun fabulous fourth, sweet lady.

You asked about Mimi's ... wellllll! here goes ... The food was terrible, the service was awful tho the waitress was delightfully bouncy & friendly. Our wait for 45 minutes for food delivery was way too long for only 4 tables seated in the entire facility. The mistake wasn't removed or acknowledged on our bill. The muffins they gave us to take home were some of the heaviest & untasty we had ever eaten ... almost as if they had been sitting for a few days. None of us could finish after the first two bites. They have been open 6 or 8 months we found out afterwards ... no excuse for that length of service there. Since then we've found others very dissatisfied also. I had worked in the food service arena for years, also ...

Hugs, Marydon
