FIRST of MANY!!! WAY 2 go C.J.!!!

Here is Dad with his "little boy", well not anymore!!C.J. our son is in his final year of law School and he was awarded an externship with the City of Mesa. He will do this for the entire semester and he will earn school credits for this, so it is not only fun and different, he is gaining valuable work experience in Practicing LAW!! Today was his FIRST CASE and he WON!!!!
We were not able to attend this event, but we met him at lunch time to take him out to lunch, win or lose!!!Upon entering the Court building, you must go through an X-ray machine, understandably so, we did not go further then the main lobby, just stood and waited for him there. As we waited the guards there asked us if we were waiting for someone, and we said "yes, they asked if they might know him or her, I said "I don't think so he has only been here a week, the gentlemen replied, "is he working in the Prosecutors office"??To that I replied Yes, he said "oh, then I won't know him as they are all pretty SNOBBY, to that I replied "I hope not and if I hear of him being Snobby I would have a Motherly talk with him". I found this conversation somewhat odd. In life, people tend to listen more to people in positions of power, intellect or fame. But people who attend college, public figures, or celebrities are not the only ones with a message. All of us have a Message to spread, and I hope today I let this gentlemen know, that not everyone who holds the position of a City Prosecutor or ANY Position of high esteem to be Snobby.
We found this cute little Pizza/Bakery restaurant in downtown Mesa to go and have some lunch!!I don't think my son is snobby!!Just a cute little BOY who Grew into a Fine Young Man!!
Congrats on winning your first CASE today!!!
We are so Proud of you!!

Oh, and I am SO proud of CJ!!! Way to go to him for being a smartie! Man, I should go buy him a HUGE bag of smarties for today! Oh, but only if he will let me have 1/2 the bag!:)

Oops, had to fix a typing error!:)

Cj is by FAR no snob. He is very nice! But, you know what...your theory on college educated, publice figures, etc being snobby is what a lot of people think of them. I know I have heard a time or two that hygienists are pre-madonna's, snobby, etc. I think that sometimes peoples perception just because you do something to take your life a step further isn't always accurate. SO PROUD of CJ!!! But, most importantly think SO highly of you and dad for encouraging all 3 of us to attend college, graduate, and shoot for our dreams! Kudos to you both for helping us all achieve our goals!! Love ya!

Jamie I'm so happy for your family! I worked for an attorney when I was in College. Many of them do have horrible egos and tempers so many people just assume that's how all are and it's simply NOT TRUE! CJ will be an awesome attorney! I pray I'm never in trouble and need him! JK
