OH Happy Day, Oh HAPPY DAY, when Jesus washed, All my Sins away!!

Do you give the horse his strength or clothe his neck with a flowing mane?
Do you make him leap like a locust, striking terror with his proud snorting?
He paws fiercely, rejoicing in his strength, and charges into the fray.
He laughs at fear, afraid of nothing; he does not shy away from the sword.
The quiver rattles against his side, along with the flashing spear and lance.
In frenzied excitement he eats up the ground; he cannot stand still when the trumpet sounds.
IF you have NOT seen this MOVIE yet, Don't rent it, BUY it!!!!
It starts out with this verse, and as the writer explains(a Christian Man) I can't write a story that inspires others if It does NOT inspire me. This movie tells the story of the triple Crown winner Secretariat in a way that I doubt no other writer could have. Maybe the love I have for horses and for race horses made this a real fav for me, maybe it was visiting the Horse Racing Museum in Lexington, KY or touring several TOP Horse farms or the fact that this occurred in 1973, the year my hubby graduated from High School and so much of this era is OUR era!!But the film is captivating from start to finish.
I bought this movie the day it came out, I didn't get a chance to watch it until I stayed the night at my daughter's house to help her with a sick toddler, we watched this movie twice Friday and twice on Saturday and every time, Miss C would get so excited at every race, raising her fisted hand into the air, yelling GO BIG RED, she would get so excited with every win, I taught her that a Horse race has 3 winners really, they can WIN-PLACE OR SHOW and she still remembers this today!!
She finally felt good enough to go visit that fascinating Farm I went to Sunday!!
Feeding the Zonkey!!We found out it is a Zebra and a donkey!!
 The ponies!!
Watching the movie again at Our house last night, we had a sleepover here last night!!
GO BIG RED!!!

I almost rented that the other day but I didn't know if I would have time to watch it.
Now I for sure will find the time!

I sure wish I was visiting you all in Arizona right now. It's been so bitter cold and I am so sick of winter!
