Double Booked but Double the FUN!!!

First stop of the day, the Discount Tire Manager's Wife Luncheon. Our Hostess is the Wife of Mark the Az region Vice President. They have a Beautiful hillside home in North Scottsdale.
Some of the ladies listening to the details of our Summer get away!!

And Stephanie talking about one of our Philanthropy projects for the year!!
The Tucson wives showing their support for U of A who sadly lost to U-Conn by 1 basket at the very end of the game.
My friend Sheri whose daughter made the Az Rattlers Cheer/dance squad!!!
 My Peeps and I!!
Since I was about 45 minutes late(our landscaper showed up to Plant all of our new plants, since so many died from frost and I had to show him what goes where) I cheated and drove DOWN her drive way and parked right by the door!!!That is a STEEP hill believe it or not!!
I wasn't the only cheater!!2 other cars were parked there too!!
From that luncheon, I had a TEA to attend. But since I had about an hour to spare, I drove slow through North Scottsdale and took in some fascinating sights!!Including this one....The Company my hubby works for this is the entrance to the Corporate office!!!
I had to get a pic of this sign.....hmmmmm  ANIMALS.....Snakes --perhaps????Javalina--???Yeah maybe at night!!!
Getting close to Carefree, Az. THIS IS amazing!!!those Boulders are HUGE!!!Imagine it falling off????

I loved the signs along the way pointing out all the different Cactus. I HAD to STOP for this one!!!!
I have arrived or so the GPS said!!!
Ceekay, Liz and Marty outside the ENGLISH TEA ROOM. Our Az bloggers had a high Tea in honor of the Upcoming ROYAL WEDDING!!!
Liz found this look alike Engagement Ring of Princess Diana's and now Kate's ring.
 The Patio entrance.
HER ROYAL MAJESTY is here!!Ceekay curtsying the Queen.
And chatting away.....what do you suppose they are talking about???Which is her favorite tea???
Ceekay wore a large Sapphire necklace.
The large assortment of Wedding souvenirs available to purchase!!
Loved them all. I will have a 3 hour layover at London's Heathrow airport and I will be RUNNING to shop!!!
Miss Charlotte greeting the Queen. Charlotte won the Best hat award!!
I had to stop by for a little chat.
Miss Sherry gave her a bit of a pat on the back!!
 Marty, Ceekay and Miss Laura!!
 Julie, Sherry and Charlotte
 Marty pouring her tea.
 The delicious food!!
And here is the owner of the English Tea Room, and yes she is English!!I LOVED her very British accent. And she was a doll to stop and chat with us for a while. She even taught us how to say Hello in a very English accent. Ok, say AIR--Hair--Lair, with a somewhat smile on your face and your speaking through your lips, say it quickly. It works!!!!!

And THANK YOU--THANK YOU--THANK YOU Miss Laura for hosting such a fabulous afternooon Tea. This is her lovely fashionista daughter Miss A.

I know on April 29th, she will also be up ALL NIGHT watching this Royal Affair!!

What a fun day! I wish I could be in New York and in Arizona and join you all for the tea. I would have gotten a spring hat just for the day. Know you all had a wonderful time.

Hey Mrs Jamie! Your days are so packed and it's a good thing they are, your blog will never get boring! lol! I loved the Themed tea, nothing like tea with Royalty. I'm going to try and stay up to watch the wedding either that, or I'll go to bed early and set my clock. Have a super week friend! hugs, Jennifer

Jamie, How neat is that to have a town called Carefree! Also Surprise!!! Not to mention Gilbert!

The cut~out of the Queen made me look twice. Fun to have a picture taken with her Majesty the Queen!!!
Is this lifesize? She's a tiny lady compared to my 5'10".
