UPDATE!!!

HI to everyone!!!
Well after my doctor visit last week(Monday Jan. 9th) , I actually felt pretty good, then on Wed. I discovered a new swollen lymph node, I called the doctor and he ordered a new Cat Scan. It showed NO Cysts and No Mass. It did show the infection was still there and lots of edema. He put me on a new round of steroids(7 the first day--6 the next day and so on) and a Strong Anti-biotic, the BIG GUN as my RN friend called it. BUT PRAISE GOD, by late Saturday....I felt like a NEW PERSON....all day Friday I ran a fever and the Dr. said that if by Tuesday I was Not Better it would have meant Back in the hospital for me. So I am giving God all the Glory and all the Praise. Thank you everyone for all your prayers and your support. I will be on this antibiotic for another week......so that makes 6 weeks of taking antibiotics....WOW......but it is OK, it is going to be a GREAT NEW YEAR!!!!|
love ya all

Good to hear you are feeling better. May you continue to heal up and be fantastic!

Jamie, life sure has it's up and downs. Full of surprises. My last doctor's appointment went really well, but my husband went today for his annual physical and it looks like he will have to have a thyroid sonogram on Monday with blood work. Away we go!

I feel like I've had the wind knocked out of me.

Appreciate prayer.

God bless,
d

I'm so glad you are blessed with better health. See, all those prayers must have helped. The weather will be improving (not that it's too bad now) soon and we'll be soothed by that beautiful sun. I've been thinking of you. I have, really! Keep going forward, friend.

Jamie, I had no idea this was going on. I haven't been to your blog in a while obviously. Glad to hear that you are in good health now. Looking forward to seeing you at Liam's party tomorrow.

Glad you are (sorta) feeling better. Whatever bug found it's way into your system is a stubborn one. Hope you stay on the mend this time!

Boy, I've been really worried about you Jamie! It sounds like you've finally gotten a good handle on this thing. I hope you are resting as much as possible.

Be sure to get some good yogurt into your system. That long on antibiotics can wreck havoc with the GI system. Wish I was closer...I'd come do private duty nursing for ya', Honey.

Mega Healing Hugs,
Rett

OH Jamie,
You've really had it rough girlfriend!
Of course I have kept up on FB but still it's amazing how much you've had to endure with this.
Your one tough cookie girlfriend!
I am looking at coming mid-feb to beginning of March. It won't be before the 15th of February.
I hope that's not when you go to Disney.
I am just waiting to see if my hubby might be able to come too but I am going to book tickets soon.
I will e-mail as soon as I know, (soon)
Big Hugs
Cindy

Oh I am so happy you are feeling better. Praise the Lord. I don't know when Cindy is coming, but it's either some time in late Feb. or early March I think. Can't wait. It will be fun for everyone to get together. Hugs, Marty

Jamie, I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling better. I've been so lax in keeping up with my bloggy friends. Real life has just taken over for me...

In looking over your pictures, it looks like you have still been as busy as ever. Can hardly believe that your little grandson is already one year old! My how time is flying. And congratulations on your son's engagement! You need to stay well... you are going to be busy these next couple of months.

Take care!
