Sparklers and Sprinkles!!!

Since the grands were afraid of the sparklers again this year.....I lit them and I held them...ok....we will save those sparklers again til next year!!
What a Treat to have Rain...real RAIN on July 4th.....it did kind of ruin our neighborhood parade.....but hopefully someone will organize it again next year....no one had organized one since 2008......
What place screams Patriotism more then Cracker barrel???I think lots of people thought this as the Place was Packed!!
It was fun sitting on their porch in those marvelous rockers.....
Warm-hot coffee on this cool morning!!
Little Princess trying to figure out how to leave just one peg!!
Then we stopped for some new flowers at Home Depot....and little dude could not decide between the baseball or pull the wagon....
 the wagonewon!!
 Oh no......
 Sister to the rescue...
Then we headed out for fireworks!!

watching from the comfort of Daddy's truck!!

and a quick stop for some Ice-cream!!!

Happy Independence day everyone!!

Adorable photos as usual, Mimi. Looks like you had a fun 4th even though it rained.
(I've always thought politicians should spend more time in Cracker Barrel talking with people. :) When I travel...that's where I eat.)

Mimi,
Oh, how I remember the 4th of July when the kids were young. We would all meet at grandma's house for fireworks. I hope you had a wonderful day with the family. Your little ones are so sweet. Making memories with the family - does it get any better than that? Have a nice weekend.

I love it that y'all had a neighborhood parade! And you all looked very patriotic!! We missed the fireworks, in fact the entire holiday, but we got all rested up which helped us both get well!

Those grands are really growing up!!! And so adorable!

Hi Jamie,

Thanks for stopping by...Oh boy! Rocks in the pool? That wouldn't be too fun. haha...

Looks like you guys had a fun 4th! I can see why the kiddos would be afraid of the sparklers...they get SO HOT!!! I'm kind of surprised that they haven't been outlawed really...But they are so pretty!

Your GK's are so cute!

Howdy Jamie!
We had a great 4th of July....wished it had rained here to cool things off. Waiting for that rain....pleaz!!!
Your GRANDS are darling and they look like they had a great time. As for sparklers, they were always my favorite. These that you have look like the kind I had as a child. Around here the sparklers were tiny and didn't put out much gusto. We had fun. Enjoyed our small town celebration.
God bless America,
d
