Driving through Utah, I noticed this white barn with it's Large U.S. Flag.....I love this!!
From Utah we entered Wyoming.....
then we crossed into Idaho...
and then before I knew it, we were back in Wyoming.....
I see Snow!!!
and I see the Snake River!!!
I caught this river raft....I thought, how fun, we are doing this tomorrow.....
and after a beautiful 4 hour drive, we arrived in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.....
I loved the town square....these elk antlers are gathered from the Elk preserve just outside of town, the boy scouts were paid .05 cents an antler about 20 years ago to make these arches in each of the corners in the square.....
loved the wooden sidewalks and the beautiful hanging flowers all over town.
A stage Coach ride.....
I snapped this pic while eating lunch out on the restaurant's balcony.
this is because of all the Silver dollars on the top of the bar....
Thanks to facebook, I read that friends of ours from high school were also in Jackson Hole, Wyoming the same time as we were, so we had to meet up with them. John and Jobeth live in Southern Arizona right on the Arizona-Mexico border on a large cattle ranch. I called it Coincidence....but with all the Silver Coins....it was NO COIN-incidence at all...God had it all planned for us to hang out with Great friends!!!
We loved all the Animals in the lobby of the Lodge....
Our room...
Yep...it was cold enough for a fire....highs were in the low 60's, the lows were in the upper 30's!!!
And I loved our raindrip shower......
