Let it Rain!!!

Couldn't resist putting this one on the blog tonight!!! Miss C and some of my darling children's books written by Lynn Cheney, they offer great insights to American history and our 50 States!!!I only got to the letter D and she was done with her history lesson!!!
Yes, this is accurate!!! 9:45 p.m. and it's nearly 100 degrees!!!! But guess what, it started RAINING!!!!I haven't seen it rain here in months!!!!!

So let us know, let us press on to know the Lord
His going forth is as certain as the dawn ;
And he will come to us like the rain,
Like the spring rain watering the earth. (NASB)
Like our dry desert needs the rain, we to need the rain of the spirit of God upon us.
Bring on more Rain!!!

What's the deal? We aren't getting any rain here in the valley. I am jealous. We need it so badly. I was wringing wet with sweat when I worked out in the yard tonight. I could hardly see for the sweat that kept running in my face. I am going to add the twizzlers, kabob sticks, strawberries and blueberries, and marshmallows to my grocery list for tomorrow. I think the kids would love them. Tomorrow I am going to start on the backyard. It takes a long time to get everything in place, so I have to start early. I still have a big sign to put out. Not sure if I am going to put it out front or in the backyard just for the family. Thanks so much for sharing. I so love it when you come for a visit. I also love it when baby comes. She is absolutely precious. They grow so fast. "Country Hugs", Sherry

I think she looks like she is taking it in. I have not see those books, but I bet they are lovely. She always looks so cute. I have one daughter married 2 years no baby yet. I am afraid our baby days are over. Probably be greats before too long. I hope. My oldest grandchildren are the same age as my youngest daughter.

There's no better rain than a summer rain. I love it. I could sit on a porch and just watch it. Or play in it. :-) It was 63 degrees here tonight. CRAZY!!! It's July! At least the rest of the weekend looks good.
