s'il vous plait permet de manger---Please let's Eat!!!

This lovely Toile (french for cloth) magnetic note holder was a gift to Camdyn from Sydney Drummond, but it works so well with my French theme dinner, I had to borrow it!! I then made up a french sign that says Hello!!!
So I decided to use Pink and white and a little black for my colors, rather then blue, white and red, the colors of the French flag. The little Eiffel Tower is something I picked up for Stacie, but til I give it to her it came in real handy!!!!Pink flowers, candles in glass candleholders, Voila(french for Look there) very french to me!!!!
The french flag and my Marie Antoinette doll.
For dessert, I went to A.J.'s fine foods as I knew they would have just the right thing!!! Petits Fours(french for small oven) was just the right thing for us girls and the fruit tarts are for my darling and Will, I knew C.J. would prefer his frozen cheesecake he still has left!!!
Camdyn in her special bib, a gift from my sister-in-law!!!I always thought Mimi was french for Grandma, but Grandma in French is Je t'aime memere.Which is close enough to my name --jamie or Mimi!!!
I made chicken(minus the french sauce, as NO one in our house likes onions)French onion soup, salad with French dressing, croissants and french fried potato's!!! Some of the food I did not prepare(thanks Will for being a Manager at Mimi's Cafe!!!)
Camdyn in her little French dress!!! The french scenes on this dress consists of the Eiffel Tower, french poodle and a little french bistro!!!As soon as she comes to Mimi's house , she empty's the toy basket out searching for her "bracelets", aka toystacker rings!! Usually she has 2 or more on!!!
"Let her eat Cake"!!!! A famous quote supposedly made by Marie Antoinette.
So good Mommy and Mimi!!!!

Oh Mimi, this is so cute!
I really like your table setting and especially the pretty napkins. The meal sounds great.

The little dress your sweet granddaughter has on is really really cute. Her headbands are precious. What a sweetie. You babysit her? That is what I am doing with my daughter's little 2 year old girl. I luv her so much and she sure runs me ragged!

Thank you for the Birthday well wishes. You made my day. As for my address, do you have an email address? Your blog wishes are kind enough for me. I truly thank you.

5 years ago our son married a young Lady from Belarus. We traveled over there for their Belarusian Wedding. On the way back to the States we dropped by Paris. And of all the places to get sick with a cold, I did.

When my husband ordered French Fries, they looked at him because thay didn't know what it was...ha ha. I was thrilled that we got to see Paris. It was like a dream to me. I'd like to go back someday.

God Bless you and Thank you for praying for my son. I so appreciate this. I'm one worried Momma. Ouch.

Hi Jamie!
Thanks for stopping by. I too wanted to put her in the kitchen area, I am still looking. She is so large. She is about 18 inches wide and about 10-12 inches tall. That is what surprised me is the size for the price. I am just amazed. Her clarity is so unbelievable. Amy got her box yesterday and was so very happy. She immediately rinsed with it. From the radiation and chemo she has no salivary glands so when she wakes in the morning her tongue is stuck. It can be very painful. Debbie said last night that she is going to be spending most of her time with her. She is so weak and small right now. Tuesday is her procedure and we are going to need lots of prayers for her. It starts at 7am. I wish I could be there but I just can't go until early Fall. Thanks for everything my friend. You are so special to both Debbie and myself. Country Hugs Jamie, Sherry

Jamie, what a sweet post. Your Camdyn is the sweetest! I would love to get that dress for my granddaughter, were did you get it?

The whole table setting says "Benavue".

Merci, for your visit to me. To answer your question we live smack dab in the middle of Canada..."friendly" Manitoba, were the Buffalo's roam, and almost every one speaks french.
I and hubby are fortunate enough to have the best of both worlds one foot in the country and the other in the city.

Come back to my blog tell me were you are in the great country of yours, and the info about the dress your pretty grand baby is wearing.
