Getting ready to board our New Home away from Home!!!Liberty Of the Seas!!!!the Largest Cruise Ship in the Mediterranean this summer. Close to 3,600 people will be on this ship and approximately 1,000 crew members!!
We are so excited for this Dream come true Cruise to begin!!This is our 4th Cruise, but something about Europe and the Port's we will be visiting is so surreal.
Our extra large stateroom. No balcony rooms were available when I booked this in February, so we settled for the 10th deck and a large Port Hole window!!!Even the bathroom was large, compared to other ships we have been on. I never Once felt closed in at all.
time to go explore this Massive City on water!!The Royal Promenade is where you will find lots of shopping and dining options, including a Coffee Shop, Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream, a Pizza Parlor and a Cup Cake bakery!!!
Awwwww........oh you know I had one!!!
Big red, thought Miss C would love this place!!
Loved this old Car parked outside one of the many Bars that line the Promenade!!
Chuck outside the Hoof and Claw Bar, they also had Vintages a Wine bar close by.
A champagne Bar
Schooners Bar...so many Bars!!!
The Casino with it's Ocean 11 Murals!!
peeking out at the Many pools!!!
H2O Zone, the kids pool!!!Time to go....Safety drill is required for ALL passengers, glad we NO longer have to wear those darn life vests!!!
Time to Set SAIL!!!Pina Colada for me!!It was 68 degrees today, a bit nippy, but we sure enjoyed the cooler weather!!!
This is our new friends Tracy and Debbie, they were on our same flight from Chicago to Madrid and Madrid to Barcelona!!!!They live in Iowa and we just had So much fun with them.
Our photo taken as we boarded the Ship!!!

That is a beautiful and fun ship! It looks as if you're having such fun. Lovely cruise digs.
That room on the ship is HUGE! And the cupcake place...I would have been there everyday!:) I am definitely adding this cruise to my huge bucket list!!!
What fun! I love looking at your pictures and remembering my trip to Barcelona and cruise last winter. I can still feel the excitement when we boarded the ship. I am so happy to follow along on your trip in Blogland. My plan is to be in Sedona -- maybe a little time in Phoenix, too -- next March. Barring something unforeseen, it's a definite.
Love all of your pics and sounds like you are off to a great start. I can't wait to see more. Hugs, marty
Gosh, but I love these pictures, Jamie! It's been a good long while since we've cruised; nevertheless, I'm an ADDICT.
How on earth were you able to capture those interiors (ship's promenade) with no hoards of people in the way?
Love your blog ... I'll be back!
