Seine Dinner Cruise

This is clockwise...Me, Lisa, Lisa's sister Morgan(visiting us from a town a few hours away) Sherri, Angela and Donna. What a Wonderful dinner cruise this was!!!3 hours long and the meal was wonderful.
Champagne at every table!!
What a great place to start...what a View!!
I decided to take some Maternity shots of Morgan!!
I love her green dress against those red chairs!!
Looking over the menu!!!I chose the Cream of Vegetable soup with hazelnut emulsion for my starter...The Pan fried Veal de quasi with courgette rounds for my main course and the Pear Hazelnut and chocolate shortbread for dessert.
Cheers to another great meal and a fun trip to Paris!!!

 sisters enjoying each others company!!!

going under one of the many bridges that cross over the river Seine
 what a fabulous View....

This is the Site of the Statue of Liberty--La Liberte eclairant le monde, meaning Liberty Enlightening the World. Did you know there is actually 3 Statue of Liberty's??? We received ours as a gift of friendship from the people of France. The original one is in Paris at the Luxembourg Palace in the garden( I wish I had time to visit this Palace too) and the second larger one is located on Swan Alley Island in the Seine River...you see her HERE!!!!The One presented to the United States is of Course in New York City adorning the harbor!!
This was a special treat to see this....I have seen the one in New York, but I was thrilled to see this one!!
She is facing West towards her larger sister in New York!

Can you imagine living in one of these????Some people do!!
The Pont Neuf Bridge....
My favorite bridge, or I should say the fanciest bridge is Pont Alexandre III, it connects the Esplanade des Invalides and the Champs-Elysees. Built in 1896-1900, it is stunning especially at night with the extravagant lamps all lit up.

When the Tower lights come on, it is magical, but every 30 minutes or so, the Tower puts on a spectacular LIGHT show, the lights blink on and off for several minutes and it is fabulous to watch!!!
The twinkling lights!!!
I love this picture of the Eiffel Tower Carousel all lit up next to the tower!!!

Tonight, I nearly cried missing this spectacular sight was my dear loving husband.....I so wished he was here this night to witness this with me.....As most lover's do in Paris, they place a lock to a bridge, in hopes they will return to this spot again with their lover........I shall return with my Lover!!!
the entertainment on board....
