3 .14-----It's National PI day!!!!!!

Math lovers celebrate PI day!!! My 2 years of high school accounting hardly make me a Math expert. But I do love balancing my check book every month and keeping close eye on our 401-K situation!!!PI is one of the most important Mathematical Constants. I first became aware of a Mathematical constant while watching the t.v. show LOST!!! I love that show, it makes you really think out side the box on alot of issues. But it also makes me curious as to what is going on with that show, so anytime I'm "lost" about something, I google it!!! So that is where a math constant came to mind. PI(for those who do not know)is the ratio of a circle's circumference to it's diameter. And it is almost always 3 and 1/4 the size of it's diameter. I talked to Chuck about this the other day, and he explained to me about a tire's rotation and the part it plays in determining speed. I was "lost"again!!!!!Anyway in CELEBRATION of this special day as it circles around the globe, I decided to make a pie!!! Notice the PI symbol!!!!!
Now for some real fun!!!! Do you know what a haiku is???It is Japanese and means a short poem. A haiku has 17 syllables, 3 lines consisting of: 5 syllables-7 syllables-5 syllables, but in honor of PI, let's all make a PI-KU. So here are the rules....3 lines consisting of: 3 syllables-1 syllable and 4 syllables..get it...3 1/4!!!!So here is mine!!!!!

How does Love
Keep
Ex-pan-ding Me????

HAVE FUN!!!!!!!
