Day 4-Monday May 11th

We started the day out walking along the San Antonio Riverwalk also known as Paseo del Rio.The building of this major tourist attraction began in the 1930's. One of the first businesses opened was the famous Casa Rio Mexican Restaurant. Also along the Riverwalk is the Tower of the Americas part of the 1968 Hemis Fair, the official 1st world fair. The theme for the 68 world fair was The Confluence of Civilizations in the Americas.
C.J. and Jesse walking under one of several of the bridges that is the street level of downtown San Antonio.
The 3 of us getting ready to cross over to the other side of the river to go eat at Casa Rio Mexican Restaurant.
A shot from the street level. It was such a beautiful day ouside we sat next to the river and ate.
Leaving San Antonio we headed to Carlsbad, N.M. It is about 450 miles away. So about 6-7 hours away.
