Salt Lake City.......

Saw this Welcome Sign as soon as we exited the airport!!!
The State Capitol Building in Salt Lake City
It is larger then the one in Phoenix, Az....
We made a stop at Temple Square..we are not LDS but we thought why not go check it out....cannot go inside, but it was nice to walk around and see the square...
We immediately noticed Alot of weddings...well Young brides and grooms and family members waiting for their wedding...I am assuming...saw alot of purple in this group..

this bride and groom seriously looked about 18!! Aqua was the color over here....
Peach and Coral was this wedding color...

We had lunch across the street at City Center....UTAH has it's first Tiffany's inside this mall!!!
We then drove to Cauldron Park inside the University of Utah...this is where the Opening and closing Ceremony for the 2002 Olympics were held...
The Olympic Torch.....the Motto of the 2002 Olympic Torch was "Light the fire within". It was designed to look like a Giant Icicle....the 1980 dream team gold medal winning Hockey team lit the torch for the opening ceremony.
The Hoberman Arch was used during the games as a Mechanical curtain for the medal plaza's stage...
